DODA, June 16: A double storey residential house was gutted in fire at Kalihand area here today.
As per Police, fire broke out in the residential house of one Ghulam Nabi Kumar, son of Mohd Ramzan Kumar, resident of village Kalihand probably due to short circuit.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident but the fire inflicted massive damage to the property.
On getting information, a rescue team from nearby Police Station rushed to the spot and started operation to douse the flames.
Residents of the area have demanded early establishing of Fire Station at Kalihand to thwart such incidents in future.
Doda Police has taken cognizance of the incident.
