JAMMU, June 13: Superintendent of Police (SP) North Mohita Sharma has asked the citizens to report about unknown persons moving suspiciously in their areas to nearest police stations.
She stated this while interacting with prominent citizens and members of Market Associations at Police Station Janipur.
While speaking, prominent citizens and members of Market Associations raised concern over the entry of unknown persons such as beggars and cart riders in their areas.
They also expressed concern over the challaning by the Traffic Police cops in the busy market. They demanded police verification of the unknown persons in their areas.
Assuring to take action against the unknown persons moving the areas, SP asked the prominent citizens and members of the Market Association to inform the concerned police stations about the movement of unidentified persons in their areas.
To other issues, SP Mohita Sharma assured early redressal after taking up the same with the concerned authorities.
SDPO Jammu West Rahul Nagar, SHO Janipur Inspector Nayat Ali and other officers/officials of the Police Department were present in the meeting.
