Remarkable rise of BJP

The recent political developments wherein senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has put down his papers from even the primary membership of Indian National Congress (INC) party, speaks amounts of the prevailing unrest in the political party that is not only losing its sheen but also sinking to the bottom of the pit. This is something which was predicted long ago and is now coming true. This move establishes that Congress, a party of dynasts, definitely has become untouchable especially when BJP is emerging as the single largest political party in the world with membership of over 180 million and having its Presidents coming from different backgrounds and families.
Today when Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is having the Lion’s share in Indian political arena, its acceptance amongst the people is showing other political parties a mirror, especially to Congress which till date had been promoting dynastic rule, corruption and nepotism. The exit of Ghulam Nabi Azad from Congress and his likely formation of a new political party has not only split Congress into two but also left a whole lot of former corrupt ministers and spent forces looking after the residual party in the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir. This can be the beginning of the end of Congress in J&K as well.
The BJP had always been vocal about ‘Congress Mukt Bharat’ and this slogan is now being held true to its spirit in J&K as well. Having risen to become the largest political party in the world in just four decades, BJP has a clear and identified road ahead wherein the most deserving political stalwarts in their given capacities and assignments are serving the people. Founded on April 6, 1980 with former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee as its first President, BJP’s history can be traced back to Bharatiya Jan Sangh (BJS) which was founded in 1952 by Dr Syama Prasad Mookerji who drew inspiration from Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya.Today BJP is world’s largest political party, with presence in majority of the states, dedicated to India’s unity, integrity and social strength.
Reversing this trend in near future is a herculean taskfor Congress, and if left to the corrupt and incapable, it is not going to happen even in the next few decades. Having started with just two seats in the Lok Sabha with Dr AK Patel and ChandupatlaJanga Reddy when Congress bagged 404 seats in 1984, BJP today has the largest share of 303 seats in the Lok Sabha and 101 in the Rajya Sabha. On the other hand, Congress is having merely 53 seats in the Lok Sabha and 29 in the Rajya Sabha.Next Lok Sabha elections are also in the offing for which BJP is not only geared up but transforming the entire country to such a level where people believe that nothing less than BJP can lead the nation in future as well.
This remarkable rise of BJP is because of the fact that it, instead of serving a family, served the entire nation as a whole. This is what Prime Minister Narendra Modi too had said during BJP foundation day celebrations. Today when Congress’ share in Lok Sabha as well as in Rajya Sabha is decreasing, BJP with its hard work, sincerity, people-oriented policies, fair distribution of funds, judicious use of money and nationalistic approach is gaining inch by inch. This is what is making it go strong and win over the hearts of people. This steady rise of BJP is making it win election after election with a thumping majority.
Today when every second political stalwart is deserting the sinking ship of Congress, BJP is gaining tremendously. After every election, Congress analysts cite multiple irrelevant reasons for its defeat but they in no way can digest the ever-increasing vote bank share of BJP in all elections, including the general elections. This trend is not going to scale down for the simple reason that BJP is a political party that is strongly pursuing democratic values even in the party, and elects its Presidents judiciously. The party is in no way promoting dynasts, and has given the nation finest and cleanest government in the past 75 years.
With the majority of states and UTs having a BJP government, some individually and some in alliance, development is witnessing a next level. With BJP having entered its eighth year of governance at the Centre, infrastructure development, health sector, education and defence forces are all witnessing massive expansion only to strengthen the country’s work force and make borders impermeable. This is the reason the most hostile and enemy nations today have been made irrelevant. Congress, as is now established, was always playing dirty politics by pleasing those who were running with the hare and hunting with hounds. That was doublespeak and was completely wrong.
The situation during Congress regimes had become so fragile that the Indian Army and other belt forces which were supposed to defend borders, kill militants, nail anti-social elements and scare those promoting secessionism were made to serve them through Sadbhavana schemes. BJP has very clearly identified the role of belt forces and left the Union Territory for them to cleanse it from all such forces that are promoting terrorism or even trying to help those sneaking into this side of fence to fuel militancy. This has resulted in restoration of the faith of people and eradication of anti-nationals.
BJP today is the largest political party in the world with over 180 million members spread across the length and breadth of India. A very organised and disciplined work force of BJP is working round the clock to keep Congress and its corrupt elements at bay. This is because, none other than BJP can lead the nation to a height where peace will prevail, employment opportunities will open up for the youth and educated and most importantly, the country will progress by leaps and bounds. Today the entire Indian railways is undergoing a big transformation, Article 370 is a passé, smart cities are changing the lives of urban residents, Amrit Sarovars are rejuvenating village lives, social security of the poor and infirm has increased and the morale of soldiers is high.
The country is witnessing massive development and its foreign policies have placed it in the top ten nations whose words matter in the international forums. When it comes to Jammu and Kashmir, BJP had started from scratch. It was the party who took up the cause of Doda and Bhaderwah killings and sought declaration of Doda as a disturbed region. It was because of the efforts of BJP that Village Defence Committees were made in this region and people’s lives were saved.
At a time when Congress or its allies like National Conference (NC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) were mute spectators to massacres, stone pelting, youth getting drawn towards militancy or corruption touching new heights, it was BJP which never succumbed to pressure and continued to make people aware of their rights and saved them from such drastic political developments that had almost pushed them towards a dark hole. Today when BJP has restored people’s faith in democracy, established that Article 370 was nothing but a blockade in development, made people believe that deserving can get jobs and there lies no future in stone pelting, people are actually convinced.
The people of Jammu and Kashmir have realised that nothing short of peace, development, fair political participation, getting rid of dynasts and new age politicians can transform Jammu and Kashmir. They have tested and tried rotten politicians who, for their vested interests, looted the state exchequer, didn’t let any new leader emerge and always divided people on the basis of caste, creed or religion. A whole set of new age politicians who are running Municipal Corporations, Councils and Block Development Councils are also ready to take on these old guards head on whenever elections are held in Jammu and Kashmir.
