Remain vigilant to thwart nefarious deigns of ANEs: DIG to officers

KISHTWAR, Oct 23: Deputy Inspector General of Police Doda- Kishtwar-Ramban (DKR) Range Dr Sunil Guptaa security review meeting with officers at District Police Lines.
DIG also inspected the MI room, KOT, JIC and other establishment of DPL Kishtwar.
A detailed powerpoint presentation was given by SSP Kishtwar Shafqat Hussain Batt regarding the security and law and order issues and the steps being taking in wake of upcoming festivals and other important events coming forth.
A detailed general review meeting was chaired by DIG DKR Range in which all supervisory officers were present.
In the evening, the DIG DKR Range interacted with Army Officers and officers of CAPF. Magistrate Kishtwar and Principal District and Sessions Judge Kishtwar along with other magistrate were also present.
DIG accompanied by SSP Kishtwar also took round of Kishtwar town and some peripheral areas to inspect the security deployment and important instructions were rendered to the officers/official deployed.
Later, DIG also visited Police Component at Kuleed and interacted with the personnel.
DIG stressed upon the officers to remain extra vigilant in wake of forth coming important events and the festivals. He also stressed upon them to remain vigilant to thwart nefarious deigns of anti national elements.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Additional SP Kishtwar Rajinder Singh, DySP Hqrs/PC Satish Kumar, DySP DAR DPL Kishtwar Zia-UK-Haq and officers of District Kishtwar.
