Relief holders hold meeting

JAMMU, Sept 29: All Kashmiri migrant Pandit relief holders held a meeting related to their problems which they are facing due to failure of Government to provide employment to them.
The meeting which was chaired by Incharge of Kashmiri migrant relief holders, Ajay Bhat
appealed to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Lt. Governor of J&K to look into the serious matter so that general category persons among KPs get employment.
He said the Lt. Governor, Manoj Sinha has categorically said during his visit to Jagti Township that preference be given to these persons who have no employee in their families and appealed him to keep his word.
He also appealed both J&K and Union Government to look into the serious matter so that general category persons be given employment.
The meeting also appealed to Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner to issue EWs (Economically Weaker Section) certificate to Kashmiri Pandit children for their help in employment in Government jobs when all these unemployed persons have born after mass migration from Valley in 1989.
