Relief holders discuss demands

JAMMU, Dec 3: A meeting of All Kashmiri Migrant Relief Holders was held at Jagti today under the presidentship of Ajay Bhat in which the demands of the displaced people were highlighted.
The meeting demanded enhancement of relief to Rs 400 per day per soul from present rate of Rs 83.33. It said that the meager amount of relief does not suffice to feed the displaced families dependent on cash relief only.
The meeting said that the migrants are living in miserable conditions. Addressing the meeting M K Raina and Satish Thaploo demanded Rs 50 lakh for over-aged youth while Kundan Raina termed the demonetization a very bold step of Prime Minister.
The relief holders have decided to submit the forms of over aged youth to Central government.
