Relief holders demand release of flour quota

JAMMU, Jan 13: Kashmiri migrants have expressed their grave concern over non issuance of flour to relief holders for last six months.
In a statement issued here, today Sunil Pandita and Vijay Kaul representatives of relief holders have said that the migrants totally dependent on cash doles from Government have been put to problems after withholding of the supply of flour to them for over last six months and despite repeated pleas the Government has failed to take action in this regard.
They said the relief holders having no source of income are unable to purchase the flour from market on high rates and the Government should release the quota of flour to migrants without any delay.
The relief holders have sought immediate intervention of Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner in the matter and appealed him to take up the issue with concerned Department.
