SRINAGAR, Jan 13: BJP district president, Srinagar, Ashok Bhat today alleged that former Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and the Congress was responsible for ‘dividing’ the country and wanted to know to whom the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ led by Rahul Gandhi was aimed at unifying.
“On one side there is PM Narendra Modi who is working, 24×7 for the country and on the other side there is Rahul Gandhi who is doing Bharat Jodo Yatra. Rahul Gandhi, should tell the nation who has divided India? In 1947 with an urge to get power at the earliest, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and the Congress party readily accepted division of Bharat in to two parts, Bhat added.
He said Congress party are those who divided united Bharat, but are today talking about Bharat Jodo (unifying India).
Further mentioning, that in India, on one side there is the BJP where a person from a very ordinary family can become the Prime Minister of the country, while on the other side there is Congress which is a party of one family.
He said at a time when Congress is speaking about Bharat Jodo, the partymen are in a mood for ‘Congress Chodo’ (quit Congress), Looking at the whole of India, the grand old party is nowhere and what remained, are its smaller groups or factions.
In Jammu and Kashmir, too Congress is a divided house with one faction led by one leader and other factions by other leaders.
Further people of India feel proud of the way the country is progressing under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Ashok Bhat said, adding when Congresses atrocities and injustice increased, Modi came as a “blessing” for country.
He said world leaders including Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President, Joe Biden are today praising Modi and his leadership, and the country is proud of him.
