Relief holders’ concern over delay in bifurcation cases

JAMMU, Aug 12:  All Kashmiri migrant relief holders have expressed concern over piling of bifurcation files and criticized the authorities for delaying the bifurcation cases of genuine migrant families.
Addressing the relief holders of various camps, Sunil Pandita  a representative of the organization alleged that the authorities had taken several decision but the same have not been implemented till date with the result the migrants are facing many hardships.
Pandita alleged that the government is not serious in resolving the day to day problems of Kashmiri migrants making them suffer.
He said that the reshuffle of existing staff and adjustment of new staff was notified  and the  Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation had assured to reshuffle organization but the same has not been done till date, which puts a question mark on credibility and integrity of the concerned ministry of the present Government.
Pandita reiterated his demand of conducting elections in camps on the basis of Municipal Committee or Panchayat  elections to elect the genuine representatives of Kashmiri migrants for upkeep of these camps He also demanded shifting of offices of camp commandants Jagti in the office complex lying idle at the township.
Ajay Bhat expressed concern over the late payment of monthly cash assistance and said  the same must be released before 7th  of every month so that relief holders don’t suffer.
Among others M.L.Ganjoo, Sunil Kumar, Sunil Raina, Rajander Pandit ,Rakesh Koul,Ramesh Jee, Rinku Jee, T K Bhat ,Sanjay Raina,M.L.Pandita also spoke in the meeting.
