Apropos the article “Of teaher and teaching” in DE May 30, I have to say that in spite of highest advancement in technology, digitization and scientific development in the field of education, the role of the teacher is there so far as teaching is concerned. The teacher is very much relevant inspite of these developments. There is no need to downplay the teacher because a teacher, in the real since of the term is the person who motivates the students towards learning process. A teacher plays a predominant role while shaping the personality and career of a student.
