RAJOURI, Aug 26: Relatives and family members held protest in Rajouri town after the death of a youth under mysterious circumstances.
Sources said that one person namely Bhupinder Sharma (25), son of Pt Lal Chand, resident of Kha Jamola was found in unconscious condition near his home on August 23 and was shifted to GMC Rajouri and from where referred to GMC Jammu and then to Ludhiana for treatment and ultimately he lost his battle with life today.
The postmortem was conducted in GMC Jammu today. Later, the family members, relatives and locals of the area held protest at Rajouri today claiming that he was allegedly done to death. The protesters also demanded relief for the family.
Later, DC Rajouri Vikas Kundal and SSP Rajouri Amritpal Singh reached the spot. Kundal assured them for relief. SSP Rajouri assured the family that proper investigation will be done after constituting SIT and those responsible will not be spared at any cost. After assurance from DC and SSP locals lifted the protest dharna.
