JAMMU, June 2: PHE Department Drivers & Cleaners Union (PHEDDCU) has urged upon the State Government to regularize the daily wagers who are on strike since long.
In a meeting of the Union held here today under the chairmanship of trade unionist, K C Dubey, the speakers strongly criticized the present and previous Governments for not resolving this issue pending for the last over 15-20 years. They said that daily wagers of the department are on strike since long and the Government has failed to address their issue.
Extending full support to the cause of PHE daily rated, CP and ITI trained workers, the Union members urged upon the State Government to do justice with them and frame a policy for their regularization.
