Registrar Cooperative Societies reviews JKCARD Bank working

JAMMU, Jan 17: Registrar J&K Cooperative Societies,  Mushtaq  Ahmed reviewed the functioning of  J&K Cooperative Agriculture & Rural  Development (JKCARD)  Bank Ltd,  Regional headquarters  here.
Managing Director /CEO of  the Bank, Mohd Aslam Bhat briefed the Registrar, J&K Cooperative Societies  about the working of the Bank and its present financial  health.  The MD informed the Registrar about the progress of the Bank and its achievements made during the last three years. General Manager of the Bank,   Mohd  Illyas Khawaja submitted  a brief note about the working of Jammu province to the Registrar.
The Registrar during review meet, discussed individually with the District Managers/ Branch Managers about their progress with regard to deposit mobilization, lending  and recoveries. He took a serious note about the recoveries   and directed to the management of the Bank to ensure that recovery percentage   of the Bank should go above 90 % and those who fail to achieve this target be dealt seriously under rules.  He also gave some valuable suggestions to the staff and shred his experience with them while dealing with the chronic default cases.  He advised the officers  to improve the overall working of the Bank.
