UDHAMPUR, Aug 16: In order to gear up the work of digitization and scanning of record, the Regional Director Survey and Land Records, Udhampur Rajesh Kumar Shavan made a round of record room.
He interacted with the staff engaged in digitization and ascertained the pace of work. It was pointed out that the speed of quality check and cropping of record is slow and not keeping pace with the scanning speed. The Regional Director assured to deploy more manpower to bridge the gap.
Besides this the Regional Director Survey and Land Records, Udhampur also directed the Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) to fix a meeting of all settlement related officers / officials, so that they are also sensitized about the important revenue work.
Those who accompanied the Regional Director, during inspection included Krishan Lal, Addl. Deputy Commissioner (Regional Addl. CEO ) & Subash Chander Dogra, Assistant Commissioner Revenue (Assistant Settlement Officer) in the capacity as Assistant Settlement Officer HQ, alongwith Naib Tehsildars & Girdawars.
The Regional Director advised all the staff to scan the work with full proficiency and accuracy so that errors are avoided.
