Refined soya oil futures remain up on spot demand

NEW DELHI, July 10:  Refined soya oil prices advanced 0.40 per cent to Rs 583.10 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators enlarged positions on the back of rising demand at the spot market.
Also, tight stocks position in the physical market on restricted supplies from producing belts supported the uptrend.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in August rose by Rs 2.35, or 0.40 per cent to Rs 583.10 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,84,490 lots.
Also, the oil for delivery in October contracts edged up by Rs 1.10, or 0.19 per cent to Rs 568.30 per 10 kg in 86,235 lots.
Market analysts said a firming trend at the spot market on rising demand and restricted supplies from producing belts mainly kept refined soya oil prices higher at futures trade. (PTI)
