UDHAMPUR, Nov 1: Spokesperson Jammu and Kashmir BJP Ranbir Singh Pathania said that post August 5, 2019, a new era has been started in J&K.
“Few vested interests and rejected political forces are hell bent to create confusion by selling canards and half truths”, he said while addressing a gathering of party cadres at Majalta here.
Pathania further called upon the party men to act as harbinger and propagators of the Modi led Government at the centre. He said that new slogan of J&K Government ‘Employment for all’ is really inspiring which has instilled confidence amongst the youth of J&K.
He called upon LG of Jammu and Kashmir to take immediate steps to redress the issues of daily wagers, casual workers, etc.
While dealing with the issue of casual, daily rated and contractual workers, Pathania said ‘Right to regularization within a fair period of time’ and ‘right to minimum wages’ are fundamental rights enshrined under the Constitution of India and further affirmed and vindicated by the Supreme Court of India by virtue of various judicial pronouncements.
Since nineties, no regularization policy has been formulated and virtually actualized on ground leading to total exploitation of the unemployed youth of the area, he said, adding that the people who have put in the prime time of their life have been forced to lead a life of insecurity and uncertainty.
