JAMMU, Sept 7: A team of Indian Red Cross Society district Branch, Jammu visited flood affected areas of Jammu and provided relief material including blankets, canvas sheets, dairies etc to flood victims of Jourian, Bishnah, Marh, Pallanwall, Yatri Niwas, Bhagwati Nagar and Akhnoor.
In a statement issued here today by Suresh Sharma, executive secretary of the Red Cross, this exercise will continue till the difficulties of the people due to rain is mitigated.
He added that it has become possible due to guidance of Ajeet Kumar Sahu (DC, Jammu) chairman DRCS, Jammu, R C Puri, Hony. Secy. Indian Red Cross Society Region, Jammu to provide relief the sufferers.
