Red Cross organizes medical camp at Phallain Mandal

JAMMU, Sept 20: In order to provide proper Health and Medical Facilities to the recent flood victims, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region in collaboration with Bee Enn Charitable Trust and Hridyadeep Ashram organized a free medical checkup camp at Lakshmi Pura in Phallain Mandal area of Jammu.
About 250 patients were examined during the camp by a team of doctors headed by Dr Kaushlya Sambyal, Medical Superintendent, Bee Enn General Hospital. Other doctor of the team included Dr Kavita Nijhon Bhan, Medical Officer, Red Cross Dispensary assisted by Sohan Lal, Pharmacist.
During the camp, 30 free tests of various ailments were conducted through a portable Test Lab, by technician, Mahesh. The technicians of Red Cross Diagnostic Centre, Surinder Vermani, Sanjay Dhar and Monica Sharma assisted in conducting the tests.
The Red Cross also distributed different kind of medicines as prescribed by the doctors and eatable items to the flood hit people free of cost.
