JAMMU, Aug 20: Indian Red Cross Society, district branch, Jammu orgainsed a sensitisation programme at Government Higher Secondary School (girls) R S Pura, Jammu wherein ZEOs, Head of the Institutions of Government as well as private schools of tehsil R S Pura participated.
Suresh Sharma-hony executive secretary Red Cross Society, district Jammu while interacting with the gathering said that Red Cross means missionary zeal and wished that a sea of humanity would join hands to serve all those in distress and wished that JRC volunteers from schools would render their services to save lives particularly in rural areas.
An interactive session on extension of Red Cross activities was held wherein Head of the institutions were invited to encourage the students to take part in Red Cross activities.
Others present were O P Gupta, Paramjeet, Rajinder Singh, Pinky Jain.
The vote of thanks was presented by the Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, R S Pura.
