45th KVS Regional Sports Meet in full swing

JAMMU, Aug 20: The 45th KVS Regional Sports Meet is in full swing at various Kendriya Vidyalayas, here.
At KV Miran Sahib, the competitions in the disciplines of judo and taekwondo were declared open by Ajay Hambran, Additional DIG BSF Sector HQ, Indreshwer Nagar, Jammu. Around 250 students took part in the Meet.
Earlier, rope skipping competition was inaugurated by the Principal of the Vidyalaya, Sushma Jain yesterday.
At KVS Bantalab, KV Akhnoor beat KV Chenani by one innings and 6 points, KV Mirna Sahib defeated KV Kathua by one innings and 2 points, KV Udhampur got better of KV Bakloh by 16 points, KV Nagalbur trounced KV Lakhanpur by 8 points, KV Pathankot Beat KV Domana by 2 points, KV Bantalab outplayed KV Rajouri and KV Bandipur by one innings and 2 points and 14 points respectively.
