This has reference to the Sunday Magazine article ‘Claim over Aksai Chin’ by Col J P Singh.
The author deserves kudos for giving a detailed historical background of this portion of the land presently held illegally by China.
The article is quite informative, and written in a candid manner. This also gives us an account of the vision of the Dogra rulers who extended the boundry of the country to far off areas. It must be our sincere endeavour to get it back from the hold of China who is currently poised dangerously on our borders, looking for an opportunity to carry more mischiefs as it did recently in Galwan valley. Though Parliament of India has resolved to get it back from the aggressor, it will require large scale planning and wherewithal to do so.
