REASI, May 16: In order to improve the performance and check the working of various departments, as well as to monitor the development works, Deputy Commissioner Reasi-Sushma Chauhan conducted a review meeting of all departments here today.
In the meeting performance of PDD, PHE, Irrigation, PWD, Horticulture, Agriculture, Handloom/Handicraft, Employment, Revenue, Social Welfare, Labour, Municipality and all other important departments was reviewed.
Chauhan directed the officers to work with cooperation, dedication and good leadership skills to win the faith of the people. She called upon them to follow administrative ethics and course of proper documentation while executing the works.
She laid stress on education, rural development and social welfare departments to involve all the stakeholders while planning & executing the schemes and programmes. She directed the officers to organize awareness camps and public meetings to redress the public grievances as well as to get first hand feedback about the problems of the people.
She added that the administration will review performance of all departments on every Saturday so as to ensure transparency in service delivery and effective running of all departments.
