Udhampur, July 5: As a part of Digital India Campaign, website of Rural Development Department, Udhampur, was launched providing block wise details of all the works, annual plan and other informative material for information masses.
Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, launched the website of Rural Development Department, Udhampur, and reviewed the contents of the website. This, he said, was a part of digital India campaign and endeavour of District administration will be to put every information in public domain. He directed that schemes of all the departments should be hosted on website of district or concerned departments to ensure greater information to public for availing maximum benefits.
The DC further directed that annual plan of district for the year 2015-16 shall be uploaded on district website as well as sectoral allocation and work programme shall be made available by the departments on respective websites. Departments have been asked to furnish all information related to various flagship programmes, Centrally Sponsored Programmes and State schemes in addition to district plan and state plan.
The website of RDD contains annual works programme of all 19 CD Blocks, meanwhile the department has been asked to upload the information panchayat wise for all 204 Gram Panchayats in the district.
CPO Rakesh Jamwal, ACD Dhanantar Singh, CEO Bishan Singh, DIO Ashwani Hansa and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
