JAMMU, June 4: Dr Neeraj Sharma, Registrar Medicines and president, Resident Doctors Association GMC Jammu and Associated Hospitals has disowned his statement and charges made against GMC Principal Dr Ganshyam Dev Gupta.
In a written letter submitted to the Principal Jammu in response to a notice served on him by Dr Gupta, Dr Neeraj Sharma had said that he had not issues any statement falsely implicating the Principal.
“A statement was issued which allegedly demanded inquiry against the Purchase Committee. Your name has been either mistakenly written or a technical error has occurred. I had no intention to malign you or your chairs. If such a thing has happened, this is to regret that in strong words,” Dr Sharma said.
In the written statement earlier, Dr Sharma had leveled wild allegations against the Principal. However, when the Principal threatened to file defamation case against Dr Sharma, he retracted from the statement and denied having made any such allegations against the Principal.
