UDHAMPUR, Dec 28: Amit Sharma, Regional Director Survey & Land Records (RD S&LR), Udhampur/Reasi today conducted random inspection of land records of all Niabats falling under tehsil Majalta and also took an extensive meeting of Revenue officers including all Patwaries of the tehsil.
During this random revenue inspection and meeting, Amit Sharma was accompanied by Revenue team of his office including NT Karnail Singh, NT Narinder Kumar, Patwari Ghulam Mohd and others. The officers and officials of Majalta tehsil who attended the meeting included Tehsildar Ved Parkash, NT Deot Kasturi Lal Sharma, NT Mansar Puran Singh, GQ Deot Joginder Singh and all Patwaries of the tehsil.
RD S&LR pointed out few anomalies in random checks and spot instructions were given to concerned officials for ratification of those errors immediately. A round was also taken to see the quality of revenue infrastructure in Mansar and it was found that Patwarkhana of Mansar was in depleted condition and as a consequence, Patwari concerned was maintaining revenue records and operating out of a hired room in the vicinity.
Moreover, the Niabat of Mansar was also operating out of a single room allotted in Rural Development CIC and RD, S&LR Amit Sharma assured that these issues shall be taken-up immediately with top authorities for immediate redressal.
Apart from this, special instructions were issued in the meeting to finish and deposit Jamabandies of revenue villages at the earliest as per circular instructions issued from time to time so that they can be utilized during ongoing Revenue Records Digitization/ Automation Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme (DILRMP).
Moreover, Patwaries were instructed to keep checking and ensuring protection of the Ground Control Points installed by the Vendors in their respective jurisdictions so that the same can be utilized for creating accurate revenue records through Satellite Imageries in future.
