RBI Governor visits Shalimar Floorings

JAMMU, Apr 30: Governor, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Raghuram G Rajan along with Chairman, J&K Bank Limited, Mushtaq Ahmad, visited the Industrial Unit “Shalimar Floorings Pvt Ltd” situated at Bari Brahamana.
The Governor was impressed to see the working of fully automatic carpet weaving advance technology in the field of carpet manufacturing.
He along with the Chairman of J&K Bank was appraised about the working of the unit by the Director of the company, Rakesh Bhat. The dignitaries went through the whole manufacturing process and met the designers and applauded their contribution in developing the latest carpet designs.
They also saw the manufacturing process minutely and were very happy to see such a state of art unit in our State. Both the dignitaries praised the efforts of the promoters of the company to take the carpet weaving to such advanced level.
During their interaction, Rakesh Bhat, appraised Governor the problems being faced by the entrepreneurs and suggested several measures to ease the financing to the new generation entrepreneurs, who need a big support from the banks and to make the dream project of Prime Minister ‘Make in India’ come true.
