JAMMU, Dec 23: Jammu office of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today conducted a mock drill of Fire and Evacuation.
The mock drill was organized by Protocol and Security Cell of Jammu Regional Office of RBI in coordination with Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) Department.
Giving details of the mock drill, Sandeep Mital, General Manager (GM) RBI and chief coordinator of the fire drill, said “The drill was conducted to create awareness among the employees of RBI about firefighting techniques and the ways to respond swiftly in times of such situations”.
Mital said the fire fighters were armed with the latest firefighting equipments during the mock drill. He shared that Fire and Emergency Services Department used Bronto Skylift vehicle to successfully rescue Bank’s volunteers from the top of 4th floor during the drill. He said that an ambulance was also stationed at the spot during the demonstration.
