JAMMU, Apr 23: The Public Works (Road & Building) Department today appointed Devi Dayal, Incharge Superintending Engineer, PW (R&B) Circle, Rajouri as Inquiry Officer (IO) to probe certain charges framed against 4 former Executive Engineers of the Department.
As per an order, the IO will conduct a detailed enquiry on whether the charges framed against Satish Bhagat, then EXen, PMGSY Division Poonch, Mohammad Zabir, then EXen, PWD (R&B) Division Rajouri and PMGSY Division Rajouri, Rajesh Kumar Bhagat, then EXen, PMGSY Division Rajouri, and Mehmood Ahmed, then EXen, PMGSY Division, Budhal are genuine.
Assisted by Javid Iqbal, incharge Executive Engineer, PMGSY Division, Poonch as the Presenting Officer in the case, the IO has been asked to submit a detailed enquiry into the matter and submit his report/findings with specific recommendations to the Administrative Department within a period of 15 days from the date of issuance of the order on April 23, 2024.
“Any modification in posting shall not debar the IO and the Presenting Officer in performing their duties,” said the order.
