Ravinder intensifies poll campaign in Nowshera

NOWSHERA, Nov 11: Senior Congress leader and PCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma (MLC) has intensified election campaign in Nowshera constituency.
Mr Sharma, who is party candidate from Nowshera constituency was today accorded warm reception at Nowshera town by the locals. He was garlanded profusely. Later a  procession was taken out in the main bazaar by his supporters and Congress workers. The march culminated at Thakur Dwara community ground where the MLC addressed large gathering.
Mr Sharma extended gratitude to the party high command  and leadership for providing him party mandate  and to the people of this constituency for according him rousing reception and great honour. He said the Congress party guarantees the unity and integrity  and better development in the State. The Congress has always maintained the principle of secularism.
The Congress leader said that he has been serving this constituency    for the last more than five years and will continue to do so. He cautioned the people to remain vigilant against the designs of the divisive forces. He referred to the major achievements of Congress party and said that several administrative units were created, schools upgraded, hospitals opened and water supply schemes launched. Several local Sarpanchs and BCC workers also   spoke on the occasion.
