Ration dealers project demands

JAMMU, Feb 25: Ration Dealers Association Jammu has urged upon the CAPD Minister to release the pending commission of the dealers in the district for the last 10 months.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the chairmanship of Prabhu Dayal, president of the Association, the members demanded that pending commission of the ration dealers for the last over 10 months be released without any delay. They pointed out that CAPD is getting gunny bags from FCI free of cost while it is charging Rs 7 per bag from the ration dealers which is unjustified and wrong.
They further demanded that commission, loading /unloading/ carriage  charges of ration may be deducted before depositing the cost of atta and rice. They also demanded enhancement of carriage charges  from Rs 30 quintal to Rs 100/ quintal in municipal limits.
