JAMMU, Feb 25: Asha Kiran Welfare Society (AKWS) today distributed blankets among poor and infirm persons of Ward 36 and 37 of Janipur area today.
Chairman of the Society, Dr JP Gupta and other members in a simple function organized at Janipur today, in collaboration with other NGOs/ Trusts distributed blankets among over three dozen people. The NGO also provided financial assistance to several poor members of the society of the occasion.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included- VP Chibber, Dr Vikrant Sharma, Jaswant Manhas, R C Gupta, SK Bali, OP Sharma and others.
