Ration dealers continue protest

Excelsior Correspondent
KISHTWAR, Sept 7: The ration dealers of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) Department continued their protest for the sixth consecutive day, here today.
Large numbers of ration dealers assembled in the premises of CAPD Department’s godown and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
The protestors said that the government has paid no heed towards their issues including implementation of Labour Commission and release of carriage, loading and unloading charges of the food grain.
They asked the District Administration to redress their issues before the festival of Eid, otherwise they will intensify their protest and for any untoward incident, the administration will be responsible.
When contacted, AD Food Seema Parihar said that liabilities of the protesting ration dealers will be cleared within few days.
