JAMMU, June 28: A rashly driven sumo collided with a mini-bus in Bamla area of district Reasi, resulting into injuries to six passengers.
As per reports, a rashly driven Tata sumo bearing registration number JK11A-1628 was on its to Rajouri from Jammu, when the driver lost control over the steering and the vehicle hit a mini-bus coming from opposite direction near Bamla, causing injuries to six passengers.
On getting information, police team from Bamla police post led by SI Kamal Preet Singh rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
All the injured were rushed to hospital, where two injured were discharged after first-aid.
The four injured undergoing treatment have been identified as Masam Khan, son of Khan Mohammad, Khan Mohammad, son of Ghulam Mohammd and Safeeda Begum, wife of Masam Khan, all residents of tehsil Bakori, district Rajouri, Ajay Kumar, son of Ashok Kumar, a resident of Bamla.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Bamla police post and manhunt has been launched to ban the drivers of both the vehicles, who managed to escape from the spot.
