JAMMU, Nov 30: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national vice-president, Mahila Morcha Rashim Sood along with State president, Mahila Morcha Rajni Sethi, met a number of delegations from different parts of Displaced Kashmir district, at Purkhoo Camp today.
Sood gave patient hearing to their grievances and issues faced by people in their respective areas. She, while addressing a large crowd of women asked them to take keen interest to participate in Mahila Morcha convention, (Maha Adhiveshan) to be held in Gujarat to make it a great success.
Rashim Sood also addressed the problems and issues faced by women regarding implementation of public welfare schemes especially implemented for the targeted population of Kashmiri displaced Sammaj.
Rashim Sood prompted women to take part in Swacchta Abhiyaan to keep surrounding areas clean to make their children illness free.
On the occasion, State president, Mahila Morcha, Rajni Sethi also addressed the gathering of women and said, “BJP is committed to fulfil the promise made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi”. She said that BJP has a particular vision to bring Jammu and Kashmir at par with other leading States of the country and transform lives of people especially women. She further said that BJP believes in empowerment of women.
BJP district president, Displaced Kashmir Migrants, Chandji Bhat, State general secretary Mahila Morcha, Shailja Gupta, district general secretary, Mahila Morcha Babita Kour and all other district level, constituency level and block level party leaders of Displace Kashmir District were present in the programme.
