VIJAYPUR, Dec 23: MLC Rani Gargi Blowria today inaugurated lanes and drains at village Khidiyan, in Vijaypur constituency for which she had sanctioned Rs 350000 from her CDF. Addressing peoples on the occasions, she said that Central Government led by Dr Manmohan Singh and able leadership of AICC president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi was liberally funding the State Government for development and to provide all basic amenities like education, health care, roads etc.
She further said that it is the need of hour to vote and support the Congress party in the coming election and strengthen the hands of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi so that more flagship programmes to uplift the weaker section of the society may take place.
During the visit, she also celebrated Christmas with the Christian Biradari at Vijaypur Church, where she was invited as the chief guest. Interacting with the people, she also listened to the problem related to the Christian Biradari of the Vijaypur area and assured them that needful shall be done.
