JAMMU, Apr 6: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today provided furniture to Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Channi Himmat in Gandhi Nagar Assembly Segment.
On the demand of the Principal of the School, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, who had adopted this school and is committed to make it a model higher secondary, approached Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and requested them to provide funds for the required furniture in the school.
While speaking on the occasion Randhawa said that he is committed to make GHSS Channi Himmat a model Higher Secondary. He said that earlier funds were provided to the school from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for renovation of the school building and now furniture has been managed. Randhawa assured the school staff and the students that he is always at their disposal and will manage more funds to raise the infrastructure of the school.
Randhawa wished that HPCL will come forward in future also for such initiatives. CEO Jammu and staff of the school complimented Randhawa for his kind initiative in raising the infrastructure of the school.
