Randhawa kick starts construction of public toilets at Haryali Park

JAMMU, Apr 26: Reaffirming his commitment towards public welfare and strengthening civic amenities across Bahu constituency, MLA Bahu, Ch. Vikram Randhawa today kick-started the construction work of public toilets at Haryali Park, Ward No. 50, Channi Himmat, fulfilling a long-pending demand of the local residents.
The project was initiated in the presence of district general secretary, Kulveer Charak, Mandal president, Nitish Mahajan, and prominent locals including Sujaneya Sharma, Rajesh Gupta, Col. (retd) Karan Singh, Deepak Kohli, Sudesh Chalotra, Madhvi Sharma, Rakesh Mahajan, Rajveer Singh Jasrotia, besides officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation, the concerned Junior Engineer, and contractor.
During his earlier visit to the area, local residents had strongly projected the need for public toilet facilities at Haryali Park for the convenience of visitors, senior citizens, women, and children. Acting promptly on the genuine demand of the people, Ch. Vikram Randhawa ensured immediate approval and commencement of the work.
On the occasion, Ch. Vikram Randhawa directed the concerned JE and contractor to maintain the highest standards of quality, durability, and cleanliness while executing the project and to complete the work within the stipulated timeframe.
Addressing the gathering, Ch. Vikram Randhawa said that development of basic infrastructure and public facilities remains his top priority, and every genuine issue of the people will continue to be resolved on priority basis.
The residents of Channi Himmat expressed heartfelt gratitude to Ch. Vikram Randhawa for responding swiftly to their demand and for continuously working for the betterment of the constituency.
