JAMMU, Dec 23: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch Vikram Randhawa today inaugurated newly constructed lane and drain at Ward No 2, Bhour Camp in Gandhi Nagar Assembly Segment.
While addressing the gathering on the occasion, Randhawa said that it was the long pending demand of the locals of the area. He said that during his last visit to the area the condition of the lane and drain was deteriorated and he had then committed the people for the construction of the same. “In this series a Detailed Project Report (DPR) was prepared and thereafter I released Rs 5 lakh out of my Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the construction of the same,” he added.
Randhawa said that Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) will never play with the sentiments of the people and will always remain at the disposal of the people. He said that to carry forward the slogan ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ given by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the first priority of the BJP irrespective of caste, colour and creed.
He further assured the people that the area would be developed in phased manner and they need not to go anywhere as BJP will bring development to their doorsteps.
Others who were present on the occasion include Pt Ashok Khajuria, Vijay Sharma (Ex-Sarpanch), Bharat Sharma, Vikas Sharma, Girdhari Lal, Netar Parkash, Jasbir Singh and Pushkar.
