Randhawa conducts extensive tour of Digiana, resolves public issues

JAMMU, Jan 29: MLA Bahu, Ch. Vikram Randhawa conducted an extensive tour of the Digiana area along the canal today. He was accompanied by senior officials including CTO JMC, Executive Engineers from JMC, PHE, and Irrigation & Flood Control Departments, along with concerned AEEs and JEs. The visit was also attended by the Mandal president, his team, local residents, and shopkeepers of the market.
During the inspection, many long-standing problems being faced by local residents and shopkeepers were brought to the notice of the MLA. Randhawa personally inspected the affected sites and reviewed the situation on the ground.
Speaking on the occasion, Ch. Vikram Randhawa said that his priority is to address public grievances at the grassroots level and ensure time-bound solutions through inter-departmental coordination. He emphasized that officers have been directed to work in close coordination so that issues related to sanitation, drainage, water supply, and canal management are resolved permanently. He further stated that public welfare and ease of living remain at the core of his vision for the Bahu constituency.
Taking immediate cognizance, the MLA issued on-spot directions to the concerned departments for time-bound redressal of the issues and ensured coordinated action among all departments to provide lasting solutions.
The local residents and shopkeepers appreciated the proactive, hands-on approach of the MLA and expressed their gratitude for his self-visit, prompt intervention, and people-centric governance.
The visit reflects Ch. Vikram Randhawa’s strong commitment towards resolving public issues and ensuring better civic amenities for the people of Bahu constituency.
