Rana terms NC a force to reckon with

JAMMU, Feb 14: Saying that National Conference is a force to reckon with, Provincial President National Conference Devender Singh Rana on Friday said the ensuing elections will prove the cynics wrong with the party registering massive victory.
Speaking at a function held in connection with the joining of Deepak Daftari in National Conference, Mr Rana said that the report card of five year’s dispensation of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah stands testimony to his earnest desire to steer the State to peace, progress and development.
Mr Rana said that National Conference led Government braved numerous challenges and made it possible for the people to breath in peaceful atmosphere with development touching newer heights. He said while socio-economic activities have received a momentum, NC is endeavouring for satiating the political aspirations of the people. “The progress and development registered during the tenure of Omar Abdullah has unnerved the opponents who have resorted to worst tactics to hoodwink public opinion”, he added.
Among others Aijaz Jan, MLA and National Conference leaders Jugal Mahajan were present on the occasion.
A social activist and an entrepreneur with degree in Mechanical engineering, Mr Daftari is General Secretary Institute of Public Opinion, ex General Secretary, Transport Nagar Welfare Association, Executive Member, Jammu Chamber of Commerce & Industries, PHD Chamber of Industries and Commerce, J&K Chapter and Life Member of Gandhi Memorial College.
