POONCH, Aug 3: In order to get himself acquainted with the problems being faced by common masses and to ensure on spot redressal of same, Member Legislative Assembly Mendhar, Javed Rana, today chaired a public grievances redressal camp in far flung Kalaban village of Mendhar constituency.
In this camp, people from different villages of Kalaban took part while senior officers of different Government departments including Assistant Commissioner Development, engineers of departments and officers of Tehsil and Sub Divisional administration were present.
Public of the area raised several issues and a one to one interaction was held between officers and public for on spot redressal of these grievances.
In his address, MLA Mendhar Javed Rana termed equitable development of all areas of segment as his priority. “I want Government services to be available to public in their area for which Public Grievances Redressal Camps are held on regular basis from my side”, Rana told people saying that many issues are solved when face to face interaction takes place between public and officers.
Lawmaker also claimed that sustainable development has taken place in Mendhar constituency in last fifteen years of his leadership. Sakhi Maidan to Kalai road, Kalaban to Pathanateer to Gursai road are a large number of such major projects which have been executed in last fifteen years in Mendhar segment and have opened doors for future development of the areas, he added.
Rana also appealed public to stand shoulder to shoulder with administration to ensure sustainable and equitable development in the area.
