JAMMU, Jan 12: A meeting under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman, Legislative Council, Javed Ahmed Rana was held here today to discuss various developmental needs and supply and stock position of essential commodities to the border villages of Mendhar and Balakot of district Poonch.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioners Development, Block Development Officers, besides Sarpanchs and Panchs of Tehsil Mendhar and Balakot.
The meeting in detailed discussed the demand regarding development of model villages in the border areas of Poonch district, besides the issues of road connectivity, power and water supply facilities in the areas.
Mr. Rana listened the demands put forth by Panchs and Sarpanchs sympathetically and directed the concerned officers to take all necessary measures to redress their grievances.
