JAMMU, Apr 26: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Mendhar Javed Ahmad Rana met Chief Minister and submitted a memorandum and protested regarding the closure of Department of Gastroent-erology at Super Speciality Hospital Jammu and attachment of Dr Shoket chowdhary (HoD).
MLA protested against the controversial order of Health Minister of closing of Department of Gastroenterology and attachment of Dr Shoket Chowdhary.
He urged the Chief Minister why a doctor of a particular community is being victimised every time by every Minister who takes charge of this portfolio.
He requested Chief Minister to kindly intervene into the matter personally and direct the concerned authorities for re-opening of Department of Gastroenterology and detachment of Dr Shoket Chowdhary.
Among others present were Chowdhary Mohammad Akram, Nawang Rigzin Jora, Chowdhary Qammer Hussain, Ajaz Khan, Mumtaz Khan, etc.
