JALANDHGAR, Dec 31: Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev today criticised Aam Admi Party (AAP) chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for forming his government with the support of Congress.
Interacting with media here, Baba Ramdev said Mr Kejriwal had categorically denied taking or extendigng support to form government in Delhi soon after his party emerged as the second largest party in the Delhi assembly polls. But he formed the government with the support Congress party which was neck deep in corruption.
He said he had certain apprehensions about the smooth running of Delhi government, headed by Mr Kejriwal as he had done three follies in the beginning including formation of government with the support of Congress and betraying his senior Anna Hazare.
The baba said Mr Kejriwal should have sought support from BJP, if aspired to form his government. When Ramdev was reminded that BJP had not even responded to the letter of 18 issues contained in it for the formation of the government at Delhi, he said the BJP was less corrupt than Congress.
Targetting Congress, he said the entire leadership of Congress was corrupt and involved in scams and tax evasion running into more than Rs 10,000 lakh crore.
He said Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narinder Modi was the only solution for the nation who could frisk the country from financial and political turmoil and will bring another revolution restoring the reputation and richness of the country lost due to the wrong economic policies, neck-deep corruption and weak administration of the UPA government.
He said Bharat Swabhiman Trust would be organising a Yoga Mahotasva on March 23 on the martyrdom day of Shahi-de-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev in Delhi. On this day, more than 10 crore people across the country will be participating in yoga activities. Before it week-long yoga programmes will be conducted from March 17 culminating into the yoga mahotsava on March 23.
After this a door-to-door Dharam Yudh campaign will be started for Vivastha Parivartan and vote for nation seeking vote and support for Mr Modi so that more than 300 members could be sent to Lok Sabha to crown Modi as prime minister.
Baba Ramdev said the trust would organise a rally in Delhi on January 5 on the raising day of the trust. The trust will be completing its 20 years in existance. The rally would be addressed by BJP chief Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley and Mr Modi, he added.
