Rajwal for creating consumer rights awareness in J&K

JAMMU, Oct 29: Advocates Association for Social Responsibility And Awareness (AASRAA) the India’s largest Consumer Rights Organization held its first national Governing Body Meeting (GBM) at Chennai in Tamil Nadu. The GBM was inaugurated by AASRAA Founder and Chief patron Habeeb Sultan Ali and National Advisory Board Member G L Vijay Kumar.
Habeeb Sultan Ali explained in details about the activities of the organization and gave roadmap for further strengthening the organization at national level.
Vijay Kumar advised the Committee members to bring some celebrities from film and sports to reach the awareness to common public.
Jai Dev Rajwal ,founder and national Governing Body member who hails from J&K said that Consumer Protection Act was introduced in 1986,but even after 36 years consumer is not aware of the Act and its power which is in their hand .Again in 2019 powerful Act was introduced, but due to lack of awareness consumer faces problems. Through AASRAA he raised voice that by strengthening the team across the country and J&K in particular to educate Awareness on Consumer Protection Act, consumer rights and responsibilities. On the occasion Rajwal was by the Governing Body members.
Governing Body members unanimously elected its nation president and general secretary Tarun Kakani, Mr sandeep and Shiva Kumar respectively. The entire program was organized by AASRAA Tamilnadu Chapter headed by its president Rajan Srinivas.
Iqbal, Amar Sandeep, Sri Dhanya,Narayana, Madhu Koneru, Rajinder Parsad and Youth Wing president Mohammad Shaheen also participated.
