Rajputs resolve to get due share from Govt

JAMMU, Apr 28: Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha today organized a ‘Chintan Shivir’ for the community where Rakesh Kumar, Chief of Dharam Jagran was special invitee.
Many Biradaries of Rajputs including Muslim Rajputs participated in the function.
Speaking on the occasion various prominent persons of the community pointed out that since independence the Rajput community has suffered economically as lands and military services which were its main stay have been taken away under the new socio-political order of the State.
They further said that the community remained behind in technical education and bureaucracy because of lack of education and absence of responsive and sympathetic political leadership at the helm of affairs.
It was resolved in the function that the whole Rajput community will strive hard to get its due share from the Government vigorously by maintaining unity.
Chief Dharam Jagram Rakesh also stressed for remaining united.
Prominent Rajput community members who spoke on the occasion were Abdul Qayoom Manhas (Retd IGP), Sujad Khan of Poonch, S.S Parihar (Retd DSP), G.S Jamwal (Retd DSP), Prof Suman Jamwal and others.
