Rajput Sabha flays Govt for not declaring holiday on anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh

JAMMU, Sept 1: Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha here today held its working committee meeting.
Speakers in the meeting expressed resentment against the J&K Government for not declaring Gazetted Holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji which falls on September 23 despite passing of a resolution by the Upper House of J&K Legislature and a recent resolution passed by Jammu Municipal Corporation in this regard.
The Working Committee also discussed the income and expenditure of Sabha for the year 2018-19 and unanimously approved the income and expenditure accounts of Shri Amar Kshatriya Sabha Charitable Trust and Amar Kshatriya Sabha Educational and Charitable Trust.
Capt. Kulbir Singh, Sabha’s Tehsil President for Majalta (Udhampur); Jagdish Singh, Tehsil President Sunderbani (Rajouri); Raj Kumar, Tehsil President Billawar; Capt. Kabla Singh, President Bhogal Biradri; Capt. Inder Singh Sambyal District President Samba, K.S Jasrotia, District President Kathua and others were also present in the meeting.
