JAMMU, Sept 16: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Rajni Bala of Ward 60 here today started lane-drain work in Mohalla Dhok, Paloura.
Speaking on the occasion, Bala said that with the start of lane-drain work, a long pending demand of residents of the area has been met.
She said that the development works in Jammu were on grand-halt with lanes-drains and roads getting dilapidated and causing inconvenience to the inhabitants.
Bala asked the executing agency to expedite the work and complete the same on fast track basis so that the people may not face any inconvenience.
She also laid stress upon the officials to maintain quality of work in the area.
She assured the people that all the works related to development will be taken up at the earliest.
Ajmer Singh, Tarun Vaid, Poli Devi, Ajit Singh, Pummy and others were also present on the occasion.
