BANI, Feb 12: To discuss the local issues and problems being faced by the people of Bani, a meeting of Congress worker was held under the leadership of Rajneesh Sharma (Mian), here today.
A large number of people from different walks of life in Bani and adjoining areas attended the meeting wherein problems like road connectivity, poor water, food and electricity supply were highlighted.
While addressing the gathering, Rajneesh Sharma assured to take up all the issue of locals with the concerned authorities and solve them at the earliest. He informed that after his meeting with Director Food and Supply Department, the latter promised to increase the quota of ration for the area. Now people of the area will get their due quota of ration without any problem, Mr Sharma said adding that other problems were also being taken up with the concerned authorities for their redressal.
Rajneesh Sharma also appealed the people to work for Congress party in the upcoming Parliament elections.
Prominent among others, who spoke on the occasion, included Hans Raj Padha (Panch Bani), Bishamber Dass (Sarpanch Roulka), Haji Rasheed, Ashok Kumar, Pawan Babbar, Hans Raj, Gian Chand, Barbalu Ram, Roshan Lal and Dhani Raj.
