KATHUA, Feb 9 : Conti-nuing its endeavor to thwart the evil designs of the bovine smugglers, district Police Kathua once again succeeded in foiling another bovine smuggling bids in the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajbagh after rescuing nine bovine animals.
Acting on tip off, in the wee hours a team of Police Station Rajbagh led by Inspector Sarbjeet Andotra SHO Police Station Rajbagh laid a naka at NHW near DPS road and intercepted one truck bearing registration Number PB08AQ 9766 carrying bovine animals which was on way from Punjab towards Jammu.
During checking of the vehicle, Police rescued nine bovine animals being smuggled in it. Police team seized the vehicle but driver managed to escape. A case FIR No .29/2018 U/S 188 RPC, 3 PCA Act stands registered at PS Rajbagh.
